Our Team

The team of J&R Santaprises, Elizabeth and Brittany, have strong roots in theatre, having first met in 2007 when they both began working the Tony award winning Alliance Theatre costume shop. Elizabeth has a Master of Fine Arts in Theatrical Costume Design and Brittany Master of Fine Arts in Theatrical Costume Construction. Currently both are working at Kennesaw State University, where the teaching future generations the art of costume design and theatre tailoring. A local Atlanta area Santa Claus first approached Elizabeth and Brittany in 2013 to see if they could modify an existing suit he had worn in previous years. After successfully modifying the Santa suit, he and his Mrs. Claus asked them to design and create a new coordinating wardrobe for them. This was ultimately the launch of J&R Santaprises.

Santa’s quickly realized that is no better way to bring the inspiration of want their Santa or Mrs. Claus character to look like than knowledge of award winning team of a costume designer and a costume constructionist. We have the knowledge of the look and construction details of both period pieces and more modern attire. We have breadth of knowledge about different fabrics, techniques, and embellishments that only come from years of experience in the theatre. J&R works with you through the entire design and construction process from concept, design, patterning and construction and make sure each piece is custom fit for you.
